Free mobile internet for Smart subscribers

Hey, so, probably your free globe internet is acting up or your a Smart subscriber who wants to experience some free internet action, then you’re in the right place, here are some of the instructions so that you can surf the net using your Smart prepaid mobile phone for FREE.

1. First, you need to download Opera Mini 5 beta and install it your mobile phone.

2. Skip this if you don’t have a Nokia phone, For nokia users download the .prov file and install it on your Nokia phone and that’s it. You are set!

3. For Sony Ericsson and other phones except the iPhone, you need to manually setup your phone. Go to internet settings, create a data account, setup the APN to “internet” then save it. After that you need find your java internet settings tab, then change the proxy address to 80.239.242.128, use port number 80 and leave the username and password field blank. Lost? try checking your phone manual, maybe it would help you find your way. hehe.

As of 12.31.09, this thing works, hopefully, Smart won’t block it. Also, you need at least one peso worth of load so that things would work.
